Hat Karon is Phuket’s second largest beach. It is a popular tourist attraction because it has a coral reef that stretches to Kata and Bu island. It is also located within walking distance of several restaurants and hotels.

The Phuket Butterfly Garden and Insect World was first established in 1990. This attraction has a unique collection of butterflies, insects, tarantulas and spiders. It also has exhibits that display the life of those unique critters.
