Low-Cost Holidays with the Family

When it comes to family package holidays, you’re simply spoilt for choice.

Whether you want a short break in the Spanish sun, a quiet villa retreat with your own pool or an action-packed week in Florida, there are now family holidays to suit every age, preference and – most of all – budget.

If you are looking for low cost package holidays, you can take your pick from any one of dozens of different destinations, each boasting their own great features and special characteristics. From the golden Costas and the Spanish islands to the likes of Turkey and Greece, to name just a few, you’ll find a tantalising selection of resorts that are all family-friendly and affordable, without compromising on quality or value for money.

In general, family package holidays are created with carefully chosen child-friendly hotels or apartments, due to their specific features such as kids clubs, crèche facilities and pools with shallow areas. You will often find that the accommodation is well situated too, either in the centre of a resort close to main amenities such as shops and transport links, or near to the beach.

Some resorts are particularly popular with families due to their attractions – such as a water park or a wildlife adventure park – while others have a superb beach-front location.

Take Torremolinos for example. The resort features Aqualand – a huge water park which is an instant hit with kids and adults alike. It offers everything from pulse-racing waterslides, rapids and breathtaking drops, to a mini park which is perfect for smaller kids. Youngsters can also meet the resident sea lions. It’s the perfect tonic for energetic kids and is guaranteed to keep them busy for hours – the only problem you’ll have is keeping up with them! But with plenty of hotels conveniently located close by, you won’t have far to travel at the end of the day.
